Dr. Nawal al - Desouki Date: 17/6/1438 Venue: Auditorium Building (Hall 132) Target group: Faculty Members Program Goals: The program aims to clarify the following points: • Quality, quality assurance and academic accreditation. • Relationship between quality and evaluation. • Objectives of self-evaluation, its importance, methods, means, conditions and measures. • How to implement self-assessment and its implications. • The difference between the standard and the indicator and the the importance of independent opinion concept. Program content: The faculty members were briefed on some quality concepts such as accreditation, quality assurance and self-evaluation, and then the presenter clarified the relationship between quality and evaluation. This was followed by explanation of the objectives of the evaluation, its mechanism and its regulations. The difference between the criterion and the indicator was also illustrated along with the way to measure the standard using stars. Finally, the presenter pointed out a few guidelines for the day of the Internal Audit Committee's visit..
