As part of its efforts to promote social justice and to celebrate the world day of social justice, the SRO conducted a lecture, in cooperation with the Women Committee for Social Development, entitled “justice in education rights”.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Doaa Al-Hazmi who discussed the concept of social justice which is a set of policies and regulations that ensure that everyone entertain their rights equally.
The most important themes addressed in the lecture were:
- Equality in rights concepts and connotations that include definitions of equality, its significance and concepts.
2- Organizations that support equal rights locally and globally (e.g. plans and systems that support equal rights at the level of Kingdom and world level, Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 are cases in point)
3- The importance of equality in education.
4- The results of equality in education and its importance resulted from achieving equality in access to education, an act that won’t be achieved without achieving justice.
5- Suggested mechanisms to promote equal access to education and the possibility of providing equal opportunities for all in the field of education.
