In line with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Social Responsibility Observatory at MU, represented by the Awareness Unit, conducted a workshop entitled ‘Each 19 seconds’.
The aim of the workshop is to educate women about breast cancer and the latest statistics about it. Part of the workshop goal is also to highlight all facts about breast cancer and the misconceptions about it. The workshop focused on emphasizing the importance of early diagnose and methods of treatment.
Over 50 participated attended the workshop which was presented by a group of experts in the field.
The supervisor of Social Responsibility Observatory, Dr. Faisal al-Mutairi, pointed out that this workshop was held in line with the SRO’s strategies of increasing awareness, extending his thanks to both the vice-rector for his support and the working team for conducting this event.
