THE UNIVERSITY IS AWARDED THE ASIAN EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AWARD 2014

The University of Majmaah represented by Dean of Faculty of Education in Zulfi, Dr. Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Suwaiket, has awarded the Asian Education Leadership Award  2014, by the nomination of its  arbitrators to Dr. Al Suwaiket to win the prize that is offered by the Asian Education Leadership for  a group of leaders in the fields of education and industry at the level of the continent of Asia, and is organized for the fourth consecutive year, therefore, it aims to the motivation and to continue the work and excellence, as well as promoting the building of future leaders. The Award is  managed by specialists in arbitration and selection, where the Award is given - by a letter of nomination - for people and institutions who are models of leadership, and the people who build their institutions through leadership and academic guidance. Based on the method of selecting candidates, the organizers of the Award explained that the Asian Federation  is assigning the task of choosing the winners to a World Commission consisting of eleven arbitrators of specialists in various parts of the world -their names and destinations of  work are written in the official website of the Award,  where the judgment committee is meeting together and  determine the winners based on initial data about candidates, and the opinion of students and graduates who occupy several positions in the public and private sectors, and the use of referendum and investigation, and the search for  the personality and monitor  its achievements, as well as the use of social networking sites and the sites associated with work, and other tools. This ceremony was held in (Taj Palace Hotel) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on September 24th, 2014 AD, in the presence of a large number of global prominent leaders in the areas of educational and industrial  leadership from different countries,  which amounted to 41 Asian countries; such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Hong Kong, and others, and the presence of a large number of academics, business leaders, executives of organizations and universities, educational institutions and various global industrial companies. Hence, Dr. Abdullah Al Suwaiket is considered as one of the employees of the university who has been chosen by  the university in its early stages of inception, where he served as a faculty member, then a Chairman of the Department of Arabic Language in the College of Education in Zulfi, then Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs to become Dean of College of Education and is still. On this occasion, Dr Al Suwaiket expressed his thanks to Allah the Almighty  , then his thanks extended  to the governors of this country, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness deputy Crown  Prince –May Allah Keep them safe-who sponsored the journey of Higher Education, and overcame all obstacles that faced Higher Education, and supported it generously , also he  expressed his thanks to the commander of this university and its Rector his Excellency, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, who opened in front of his staff the doors of achievement and methods of creativity; because he is the leader who created the opportunities, supported, encouraged, and continued upshot of all this. Thus, this achievement is presented to this  ambitious university , and for its sake this Asian attendance is being recorded, because of what it has prepared for its leaderships –each in his field- of success factors,  in addition to  strive to develop their management and leadership abilities, and what it has achieved of scientific innovations and achievements in the international forums, to come this Award to be added to those scientific accomplishments  that will not be the last in the record of this nascent university , God willing.
