Visiting Students from al-Majmaah University to another university

First: Terms and conditions for studying as visitor from al-Majmaah University in another university: -

 The student must obtain prior approval from his university to study as a visitor and the courses to be studied must be identified. 

- The college can stipulate a particular grade for a course equivalency (you must check with your university). 

- The student must have an academic record (with a GPA) for at least one term in the university before applying for studying as a visitor. 

- To study in an accredited university. 

- The course that the student will study must be equivalent in content to one of the graduation required courses. (See article Forty-second)

 - The average of study units that can be accounted from outside the university is Twenty per cent (20%) from the total units of graduation required by the University of al-Majmaah. 

- The marks of the courses taken as a visiting student are not calculated within the student GPA however they are registered in his academic file. 

- The visiting student receives a monthly bonus if he deserved it after submitting his term results to the Admission and Registration Deanship. 

- The student is allowed to study only two semesters as a visitor.

 

 Second: the procedures of applying for studying as a visiting student in another University The student to whom the above terms and regulation apply must fulfill the following procedures in time: 

- To check with the university in which the student wants to study as a visitor and make sure that the courses are available in the desired term, and have a copy of all the courses specification.

 - The student has to fill in an electronic form found on the academic portal referring to the courses he wants to study in the university, and attach the courses specifications he received from the university in which he wants to study. 

- To print out the form and submit it the college that pertain to al-Majmaah university to finish the remaining procedures and get it signed and stamped by the head of the department and the faculty dean to adopt the course equivalencies. 

- The form should be submitted at the Admission and Registration Deanship of al-Majmaah University to finish out the necessary procedures. 

- The Admission and Registration deanship will then send an official letter to the university in which the student wants to study.

 Third, terms and conditions for courses equivalency (after studying a term as a visitor):

 The student must provide the Admission and Registration deanship of al-Majmaah university with the results he obtained (official academic file) one week after the beginning of the first semester that follows the period he studied as a visitor, and if the student did not submit the results he or she will be marked as withdrawn from these courses (except the summer classes) and will be abide by Article (15). 

A student is not entitled be have a visiting term or adopt courses equivalencies without first getting the prior approval of the Admission and Registration deanship.
