Second, Administration of Excellence in Learning and Education, and it encompasses the following units:

1. Unit of Quality and Teaching improvement

The tasks of the unit are described in the following:

1. Conducting comprehensive evaluation for all special suggestions regarding developing new programs or with respect to big changes in the current programs.

2. Reviewing all programs reports and data related to performance indicators, and discussing them with Vice President for Educational Affairs in order to get his approval for the important changes in the programs that are required from time to time.

3. Putting detailed guidance for defining approval levels over changes that occur in the programs and curriculums.

4. Reviewing data related to key performance indicators for all programs. This could be done at least once a year, and preparing a general report on the educational performance of the university.

5. Preparing reports periodically related to the teaching and learning level of quality.

6. Developing and applying strategies for improving and dealing with general cases that have impact on the programs in the university as a whole.  

7. Doing whatever the Vice Presidents for Educational Affairs requires the committee to do.

        

2. Assessment Unit

   The tasks of this unit are described in the following:

1. Following evaluation of curriculums and reviewing approval of yearly reports.

2. Reviewing programs reports yearly.

3. Carrying out a comprehensive evaluation for every scientific program at least every five years in addition to yearly evaluations.

4. Developing policies and procedures for dealing with cases where attainment level of students are not satisfactory.
