SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OBSERVATORY AT THE UNIVERSITY CONTRIBUTES TO COMMUNITY SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Social Responsibility Observatory at the University is responsible for the social responsibility file on campus with the aim of developing it in terms of monitoring and documentation, establishing indicators, analyzing reality data and presenting initiatives as well as development plans pertaining to various social responsibility programs.

This Observatory is established upon recommendations from the relevant scientific conferences such as the Gulf Universities Forum and Social Responsibility (Strategic Visions and Effective Practices), which hosted the University activities.

The aim of the Observatory is to develop and enrich knowledge in social responsibility as a foundation for sustainable development in society and to activate the practices of social responsibility among the University staff members through partnerships with public and private sector institutions.

It also contributes to the development of scientific solutions to enhance social responsibility in society through programs of sustainable development, and to develop the staff skills in the service of society through integration with all relevant sectors on campus.

It also engages with various community issues to contribute to the growth of the positive national sense of community members and seeks to consolidate cooperation between the observatory and other observatories at the Gulf, Arab and international levels.
