His Excellency, the Rector inaugurates development programs in the field of project management, courses, seminars and associated workshops

       His Excellency, the Rector Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Muqrin inaugurated a group of courses and developmental seminars and workshops in the field of project management organized by the University in collaboration with Sadarh digital .Est..and in the presence of the Deputy of the University  and Excellencies, advisers of the  rector of the university and the deans of colleges , assisting  Deanships and directors of departments and From Sadarh digital .Est.. Attended by Engineer, Mohamed bin Abdullah Al-Sahli, CEO of the Corporation and Mr. William Bates, senior Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of The Canadian Firm.

        The project is managed by a committee from the university consisting of Dr.Muslim bin Mohammed Al Dossary, general supervisor of the Office of the Rector and Dr. Hamad Bin Ibrahim Al-Omran the advisor of His Excellency’s office. Where he spoke at the beginning of the inauguration, Eng.  Mohamed bin Abdullah Al-Sahli, who gave thanks to the Rector of the University for  sponsoring the inauguration and his commitment and interest in and the follow up of the execution of the project management, explained that they Majmaah University  since put the finishing touches on its strategic plan, it has  taken the initiative to sign a consultant contract  to establish and develop the project Management Office at the University with the Sadarh Digital for Information Technology(SDIT) ,supported by a consultancy from the exclusive  Canadian partner  at the  Gulf region(ECBD Consulting Inc), and the belief of the Rector of the University and the distinguished team who works with him the importance of alignment between the university projects and goals of their strategic plans, and then the Rector of the University delivered a speech in which he welcomed everyone and thanked them for their attendance and asked them to interact and take advantage of the importance of the project in the development of institutional work in the university and the need that all should support the project in order to achieve the desired goals. Then began the administrative and academic workshop leaderships of the university, where both spoke, Eng Mohamed Sahli and Mr. William Bates, Senior Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian firm about the goal of  project Management Office and the harmonization of university projects and goals of their strategic plans and create an environment of project management within the framework of a unified, transparent and accurate standards, and provide support and advice and training to reach with these projects of the university to the highest degree of accuracy in defining requirements and awarding, planning, implementation, monitoring and control until obtaining success and level of satisfaction expected from these projects, but with respect to the overall objectives of the project they have been identified in (1) establishing the office and complete the team work. (2) Assess the current level of project management, and then determine the real requirements of development. (3) Promote a culture of project management and rehabilitation of those concerned within the university. (4) The development and application of project management methodology with the re-definition (processes, policies, models). (5) The development of the gate's internal project management. (6) Complete the procedures for managing major projects.
