UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF HIS HIGHNESS THE RECTOR, DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS ORGANIZES A CLOSING CEREMONY OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

 

 

 

 

Under the patronage of His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren and with the presence of a number of Colleges and Deanships Deans, Directors of Administrations, faculty members and students with their guardians, Deanship of Student Affairs organized a closing ceremony of student activities for 1432-1433. The ceremony was initiated by a recitation of the Holly Qur’an recited by the student Khalid Al-Elayyan followed by a speech on behalf of students delivered by Ahmed Bin Hamed Al-Suneid where he mentioned the efforts of the Deanship during this year and encouraged his colleagues to participate consistently in the activities. A documentary film was shown about the Deanship’s activities and functions conducted during this year. Addressing the audience, His Excellency Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Faisal Al-Hamood delivered a speech where he extended his thanks to His Highness the Rector and his Vice for their presence and continues support to the needs of the Deanship as well as their constant follow up. Then, he reviewed the achievements and success of the Deanship as well as the services provided to students and the initiatives to serve the community. After that, the students sung a song followed by an acting scene which was received with great admirations.

 

Addressing the audience, His Highness the Rector extended his thanks to His Excellency Dean of Student Affairs Deanship and its staffs for their efforts during this year. Then, he presented pieces of advice to students when he referred to the supports provided to them by this country and they have no excuse but to work hard and meet the expectations of the rulers of this country. After that, His Highness the Rector showed some of the projects and facilities of the university.

 

At the end of the ceremony, distinguished (male and female) students in all activities and participations were awarded as well as Shera’a Al-Naja’ah for its cooperation with the Deanship. The Deanship presented a gift to His Highness the Rector which was the winning prize of lay-figure conducted by the Deanship which was won by Nora Ahmed Al-Habeeb from Education College. The ceremony was run by the student Rashed Abdullah Al-Roomi. The ceremony was concluded with shooting photos session.
