In honor of His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren, Rawdat Sudair award celebration for institutional and individual excellence was held on last Thursday with the presence of His Excellency Head of Rawdat Sudair Center, Mr. Khalid Bin Abdullah Bin Maad, Award Secretary Council members and a number of officials and Notables. His Highness the Rector, upon his arrival to Rawdat Sudair, headed to Social Development Center to attend an invitation by the former head of the center, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Maadi followed by an open meeting with residents and businessmen about the achievments of the University as well as its contributions to the community. After Asir prayer, His Highness the Rector headed to Albabateen Cultural Center to attend the Rawdadt Sudair Award Ceremony for Institutional and Individual Excellence where he was received by officials organizing committees. The ceremony was by a receition of the Holly Qura’an for the student Isha’aq Mustafa followed by a speech on behalf of award secretaries delivered by Eng. Abdullah Bin Abdulateef. Al-Seif where he welcomed the presence of His Highness and audiences and then talked about the history of the award as well as its importance in supporting the social and educational development and finally extended his thanks to the organizers and supporters. Then, a poem was presented by the poet Mohammad Bin Abdelrahman Al-Faris which received a great welcome, then excellent teachers (male and female) were awarded as well as those who were excellent at the individual and institutional level. The ceremony also included a song written by Mr. Mohammad Al-Saud and performed by by Rayan Al-Layfan, Mohammad Al-Angari, Meshari Al-Ali and a number of Rawdat Sudair School students. Addressing the audience, Dr. Jeven Leefed, Head of BAE Company Delegation delivered a speech where he talked about airway and airplane manufacturing as well as the available opportunities for Saudi Students under scholarship in this field. Followed him, His Highness the Rector delivered a speech where he extended his thanks to the organizing committee as well as those who were excellent in their performance. His Highness also mentioned the partnership of the university with all educational institutions and the willing to backup any distinguished initiatives. Then, His Highness offered all awarded teachers a free study of specialized diplomas in the University. Finally, His Highness the Rector and the Head of Rawdat Sudair awarded all excellent students followed by a seesion for photo shooting. The ceremony was chaired by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Mousa and Mr. Abdelmalik Al-Faris. At the end of the ceremony, His Highness departed with great hospitality and honor.
