MU SIGNS MOU WITH JOUF UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of cooperation among Saudi universities to exchange expertise in different fields, MU welcomed Jouf University (JU) Rector, Prof. Mohammed al-Shayaa and his delegation. Received by MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, vice-rectors and staff, the delegation’s primary aim of visit is to sign a MoU and to know better about the university programs and systems.

A rhetorical ceremony was held which commenced by a welcoming speech for MU rector who expressed his gratitude with this visit.

“Today is the best time to exchange expertise between the two universities” added Dr. al-Murqn who considers all Saudi universities to be partners and should collaborate and see each other advice.

It is our duty, since the university establishment, to form partnerships and share our experience with other universities, hoping that the goals of this visit are achieved and to mark the beginning for future cooperation between the two sides.  

 Addressing the audience, JU Rector, Prof. al-Shayaa expressed his happiness in a speech, highlighting that JU was keen to form a partnership with MU due to the concern of the latter in sharing its experience with all institutions.

We are confident that this visit and the signed agreement would assist JU to obtain accreditation, stressing that a series of visits would follow this one, concluded Prof. al-Shayaa.

A memorial gift was handed to JU rector followed signing the MoU between the two sides.

MU rector then accompanied JU rector, Prof. al-Shayaa to the exhibition held by MU to commemorate the sixth anniversary of pledge of allegiance and which highlights the legacy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

Several meetings were held to discuss the possible means of activating the MoU.
