MU RECTOR SAYS KING SALMAN’S SPEECH REFLECTS THE VALUE OF SAUDI CITIZENS AND A CALL ON EVERYONE TO BEAR RESPONSBILITY DURING THIS HISTORICAL STAGE

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren extended his thanks and appreciations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz for the televised speech regarding the coronavirus outbreak.
The speech reflects the concern of the authorities to provide everything that citizens and residents of the Kingdom required during the outbreak and said he would do everything to preserve the health of the nation.
Dr. Al-Muqren pointed out that everyone was full of pride listening to the speech which underlined a great deal of concern from the King the citizens and the nation.
King Salman also said that the Saudi people had shown strength in dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, saying: “We rely on the resolve of our citizens and residents, their determination and sense of responsibility” to fight coronavirus.
Addressing the global disruption, the virus had caused, King Salman was frank as the next stage will be more difficult on a global level.
The king expressed his thanks to the government bodies for their work during the outbreak, in particular professionals in the health sector.
MU Rector said that the measures taken by the government against the outbreak are highly appreciated, motivating the university staff to comply with these measures and to proceed with undertaking their academic administrative responsibilities.
