MU RECTOR MAKES PHONE CALLS TO MU STUDENTS STUDYING ABROAD ON SCHOLARSHIPS

MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin made phone calls to a number of students studying abroad on scholarships from Majmah University. The phone calls were made to check on the students’ health, their needs and to ensure that they have a suitable academic environment without difficulties that may face them during their academic journey.
“We appreciate the Rector’s unsurprising call, which pushes us to study harder and do our best to achieve our shared goals”, Ayoub al-Othaim, a Ph.D. student at Arkansas University said.
Ahad Ali Al-Omran, a Ph.D. student, also said that she had gladly received Dr. Muqrin's call, which “made us feel happy and appreciated”. “That call expressed the Rector’s keenness to check the needs of his fellow university staff on their academic journey”.
Ahad added, “communication with students overseas reflects Dr. Muqrin’s sense of responsibility towards his colleagues studying abroad. It also suggests that the Rector is keen to overcome all the obstacles that may hinder students’ progress and push them to achieve the University goals to promote the academic skills of the faculty”.
“Dr. Muqrin's initiative to communicate with us is an honoring precedent, as no senior official has ever communicated with the faculty staff personally, so we are proud to be part of this wonderful institution, she sustained. “Moreover, the kind gesture of the Rector shows the professionalism of the institutional work that is in line with the leadership of our wise leadership vision of 2030”, Ahad concluded.
At the end of her speech, the student thanked Dr. Muqrin for this brotherly gesture, asking Allah to protect our country under our wise leadership.
