WOMEN GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK ACTIVITES PATRONIZED BY MU RECTOR

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center held on Wednesday an activity in conjunction with the women global entrepreneurship week in the presence of the Vice-Rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar.
The activities which took place on Wednesday aim to discuss the challenges and opportunities of women entrepreneurship in the region.
Dr. Al-Omar, Vice-Rector, commended the efforts exerted to conduct such workshops due to the important role of entrepreneurship in achieving the country’s vision.
A series of sessions were held before which a speech was delivered by the vice-dean of Scientific Research Deanship, Dr. Huda Al-Barrak.
The first session was presented by Dr. Muna Tawakul and focused on the opportunities and challenges of women entrepreneurship.
In the second session, Dr. Abeer Baselem addressed the topic “innovating new business solutions in the era of interdisciplinary”.
The final session addressed the business model and was presented by Dr. Rana Al-Abdan.
A Q&A session was held with speakers to discuss current business as well as potential ones that can be addressed in the future.
