FINANCIAL AWARENESS INITIATIVE CONDUCTED BY COMMUNITY SERVICE DEANSHIP FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Based on the success achieved by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education in undertaking the financial awareness initiative for students in cooperation with some partners in Riyadh, the second version of the program was launched and targets school students to increase their financial awareness and to train them how to engage in small-scale projects. Students have also received a hands-on training related to practices of small projects.
The initiative is divided into three stages: students are interviewed over two days in the first stage to select those who will participate in the initiative. In the second stage, students will receive a five-day training in cooperation with specialized sectors in this field. A 3-day hands-on training will be provided to students in the final stage at one of the malls.
Patronized by Dr. Adel Al-Turki and the Dean of the College of Community Service, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, the initiative was supervised by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Maha Al-Khaltham and the Vice-Dean for Community Programs.
