MU PARTICIPATES IN FIRST MEETING OF HEADS OF MATH DEPARTMENTS AT SAUDI UNIVERSITIES

Majmaah University has participated in the first meeting of Heads of Mathematics Departments at Saudi Universities, hosted by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Thuwal.
Dr. Zeyad Al-Hussein – Head of Mathematics Department at the College of Science in Zulfi – represented MU in the meeting which was held in collaboration with the Saudi Association for Mathematical Sciences. 17 specialists from Saudi universities have also participated in the meeting which is the first of its kind.
The aim of the meeting is to consolidate the cooperation among mathematics departments at Saudi universities and explore means of developing the study plans in line with international standards as well as discussing the latest trends of graduate programs and scientific research.
