MU RECTOR WELCOMES GOLDEN AND BRONZE MEDALS WINERS IN THE INTERNATIONAL INVENTION FAIR IN THE MIDDLE EAST (IIFME)

Majmaah University Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren welcomed in his office MU research team that has participated in the 11th the International Invention Fair in the Middle East, organized by Kuwait Science Club from the period 27-30 January, 2019 in Kuwait under the patronage of His Highness Prince of Kuwait Sheik Sobah Al Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sobah. 57 countries participated in the Fair with 117 patent projects.

The same research team was also awarded a bronze medal from Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah Al-Sobah who patronized the ceremony.
MU Rector congratulated the research team this outstanding achievement which manifests the capability of the university staff and students to be an added-value.
The research team, which invented a device that help to clear mucus from patients’ lung, consist of researchers from MU: Dr. Raed Al-Bara’adi, Dr. Essam Al-Malki and Dr. Saleh Al-Dahsh and Dr. Yasser Ba-Baeir, Dr. Anand Sam, Mr. Abdullah Al-Bakheet, Dr. Khalid Al-Harbi, Dr. Saeed Banawas, Director of Student Innovation Center, Prof. Sami Al-Abdelwahhab, Cultural Attaché ‘s Office in South Korea and Prof. Mark Sliven, Director of Research Center at Manchester Metropolitan University.
57 countries participated in the Fair with 117 patent projects.
The research team extended its thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren and Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, for their support and guide.
