COMMUNITY SERVICE DEANSHIP HELD A RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM

Aiming at strengthening its partnership with the community organizations in line with the 2030 Vision of the Kingdom, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education at Majmaah University started a training program for administrators and teachers of gifted students entitled “Research Skills” as part of the activities of the Future Researcher Initiative, launched by Majmaah University along with 7 other universities throughout the Kingdom that had been nominated by the Ministry of Education.

 

Dr. Omar al-Shariufi- Dean of Community Service- welcomed the 20 trainees who attended the program, then he stated that the course was supported by the Vice-rector, Dr. Mosallam al-Dousari.

 

The program is the first stage of the implementation of the future research initiative, where the supervisors and teachers of gifted students are trained on academic research skills so as they can follow-up student research projects.

 

The first stage will be followed by training students participating in the initiative and then enrolling them in academic departments under the supervision of faculty members who would then oversee their research projects.

 

Concluding the session, the participants expressed their appreciation for the strong support of the Rector for such productive programs.
