4. Executive Committee of the Project:

 4.1 Institutional Context Committee

4.1.1.1 Objectives of the Committee

1. To upgrade the level of quality in all university colleges, deanships and administrations.

2. To meet the requirements of the National Commission of Assessment and Academic Accreditation.

3. To develop the system of quality and to ensure its effectiveness

4. To improve the quality of administrative performance and to obtain the certificate of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.

 4.1.1.2 The committee consists the following:

 - Head of the committee and (4 to 5) members including the heads of sub-committees.

4.1.1.3 Tasks of the Committee:

- To evaluate the quality performance for all units of the university.

- To upgrade the level of quality in all university colleges, deanships and administrations.

- To apply all quality applications in all activities of the university. - To select the bench marking and to follow its applications. - To review, develop, and follow-up the applications of academic quality system at the university.

- To select key performance indicators and to collect their data - To prepare the necessary tools for the institutional performance process and the mechanism of collecting data

- To ensure the readiness of the university for the visit of internal auditors by the end of the project.

- To follow-up executing the recommendations of internal auditors.

4.1.2 Developmental Committee for Achieving Accreditation Requirements

 4.1.2.1. Tasks of the Committee:

- To evaluate the major and minor requirements for the criteria of institutional accreditation at the university.

- To estimate a financial budget for the committee work that is based on the suggested plans by sub-committees.

- To propose an action plan for fulfilling the incomplete requirements.

- To submit a report for the assessment of criteria requirements.

- To cooperate with the developmental project committees to qualify the university for the institutional accreditation.

- To meet all the requirements for institutional accreditation pertinent to accreditation criteria in compliance with the requirements of the National Commission for Accreditation.

- To prepare and submit a draft about the internal study for institutional accreditation related to the Committee of institutional Context.

- To submit the final study of internal institutional accreditation to the Committee of institutional Context after reviewing all remarks from the Audit Committee.

4.1.3 Documentation and Academic Performance Follow-up Committee

4.1.3.1 Tasks of the Committee:

- To set a clear mechanism of documenting all evidences at the institutional level.

- To document all evidences according to the criteria of the National Commission of Assessment and Academic Accreditation.

- To apply the required surveys in order to obtain the necessary data for institutional assessment in collaboration with the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development.

- To provide the statistical data at the institutional level according to the performance indicators identified by the university.

- To set a mechanism for selecting referential universities along with indicators of bench marks.

4.1.4 Administrative Quality System Committee

4.1.4.1 ISO9001 Committee

- To correspond the requirements and effective operation to the system of quality administration.

- To obtain the certificate of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.

- To prepare regular reports about the committee activities.

4.1.4.2 Academic Quality System:

4.1.4.2.1 Task of the Committee

- To review and develop a quality system or to follow-up creating and applying the quality system.

- To ensure that the university has a clear policy of quality - To follow-up the activation of quality system.

- To prepare the plan and timetable for every stage of applying the ISO system.

- To promote the awareness among university staff with quality system.

- To supervise the preparation and documentation of quality records and saving them.

4.2 Training and Education Committee

4.2.1 Objectives

1. To promote the concept of quality at the university.

2. To train faculty members for the requirements and procedures of quality assurance.

3. To qualify some staff of the university to undertake the training and supervision of quality process.

4.2.2 The Training and Education Committee is made up as follow:

- The head of committee and (2 to 3) of outstanding faculty members.

 4.2.3 Tasks of the committee:

- Preparing training packages.

- Training not less than 500 faculty members at the first stage.

- Qualifying not less than 20 faculty members including male and female to be well-trained in quality assurance.

- Training not less than 200 staff on the procedures of quality assurance for administrative work.

- Preparing introductory brochures and booklets about quality system.

- Preparing a guideline manual for some of the quality procedures.

- Providing cultural lectures to the environment of the university.

- Promoting awareness among students with the importance of assessment, quality assurance and academic accreditation.

- preparing and conducting training programs for leaders of the university.

4.3 Program Committee

4.3.1.1 Objectives

- Reviewing the mechanism of quality assurance and developing them.

 - Identifying clear mechanisms for programs to obtain academic accreditation.

- Qualifying the university programs to meet the requirements of academic accreditation.

 4.3.1.2. The committee is formed as follow:

- Head of committee and the membership of the heads of sub-committees along with an external consultant.

4.3.1.3 Tasks of the committee:

- Evaluating the quality of programs and identifying the aspects for improvements.

- Setting plans for preparing programs to internal accreditation.

- Reviewing the visions, message and objectives of programs and developing them.

- Reviewing the mechanism and operations of quality assurance for programs and developing them.

- Reviewing the outcomes of learning and strategies and developing them.

- Reviewing the methods of assessment and developing them.

- Ensuring the extent to which the program accreditation criteria has been fulfilled.

- Providing necessary technical support to prepare programs for accreditation.

- Supervising the internal study for programs according the national criteria.

- Setting a mechanism for internal audit and executing them.

- Preparing for external audits of qualified programs.

4.3.2 Developmental Committees of Programs in Various Majors

4.3.2.1 Objectives

- Reviewing the mechanism and operations of quality assurance for programs and developing them.

- Identifying clear mechanisms for programs to obtain academic accreditation.

- Qualifying the university programs to meet the requirements of academic accreditation.

4.3.2.2 The committees of program development in the four majors are formed as follow:

- Head of the Committee and the membership of two representatives from colleges in the respected major, considering the female programs.

4.3.2.3 Tasks of the Committees

- Evaluating the quality of programs and identifying the aspects for improvements.

- Executing the plans of qualifying programs for internal accreditation according to the executive plan of the project.

- Reviewing the visions, message and objectives of programs and developing them.

- Reviewing the mechanism and operations of quality assurance for programs and developing them.

- Reviewing the outcomes of learning and strategies and developing them.

- Reviewing the methods of assessment and developing them.

- Ensuring the extent to which the program accreditation criteria has been fulfilled.

- Conducting a comparison for programs with frameworks that are endorsed.

- Conducting the internal study of programs according the national criteria.

- Participating in internal audit works for programs in the field.

- Participating in arranging the external audits for qualified programs.

4.4 Public Relation and Media Committee

4.4.1 Objective

- Promoting and advertising the project in all activities of the university.

4.4.2 The committee is formed as follow:

- Head of the Committee and 3 members of the university outstanding staff.

4.4.3 Tasks of the Committee:

1. Designing and printing brochures and booklets related to the project.

 2. Advertising courses and educational programs.

3. Covering all held activities and documenting them.
