Training Unit
About the Unit
It is one of the units of the Vice Deanship for Development and Quality in the College of Applied Medical Sciences, which is specialized in identifying the training needs for the college staff,  taking part in the organization of the training programs and follow-up of their implementation and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs in order to promote their professional performance and raise their own skills as well as preparing annual reports through the adopted indicators of the performance measurement.

Unit Objectives:

The Training Unit aims to contribute to realizing the vision, mission and objectives of the Vice Deanship for Development and Quality in the College of Applied Medical Sciences in coordination with the college departments to fulfill the following objectives:

1. The continuous development of the training programs.

2. Developing the capacities of faculty members to improve the quality of higher education outputs.

3. Developing the competencies of administrators and technicians

4. Developing students' cognitive capabilities.

 

Unit Tasks:

1. Defining the specialized training needs for college staff from faculty members, employees and students.

2. Preparing a plan to develop the skills of the college staff, following up their implementation and evaluating their effectiveness.

3. Encouraging college staff to participate in attending courses, training programs and workshops.

4. Cooperation with departments and internal units in the college during the orientation programs or recruitment of new workers to provide raising-awareness programs and the necessary assistance to achieve quality assurance strategies.

5. Follow up the Updates of the Unit site.
