Within the project of application of occupational safety and health management system in the Colleges of Medical Sciences and Applied Sciences Laboratories, and in cooperation with German company "Tove Soud" and under the auspices of ,His Excellency, the Vice Rector Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari launched training courses for the first group of colleg staff members and laboratory technicians by eighteen hours of training focused on clarifying the basic points in occupational health and safety system and the roles and duties of all laboratory technicians in different categories. In this regard, His Excellency, the Vice Rector, mentioned that the university is committed through this system to prepare all ingredients of success, and this commitment for the safety of its employees, and His Excellency also said that without commitment and restrict of workers in applying it in laboratory while performing their daily work, this system will not achieve the desired goals. His Excellency, the Vice Rector, also pointed out that the employees of the university's commitment to the safety management system and occupational health in all their practices and their daily operations will make them role models for the students of the university who would disseminate what they learn from the requirements and instructions for occupational safety and health among community members and locations of their work in the future. Therefore, our commitment as employees in Majmaah University of doing that is a religious duty, and achieves part of the role of the university towards social responsibilities.
