HE the Vice Rector Monitors the Project Examination Committee Activities and Meet the Deans of the Colleges and the Supporting Deanships

Implementing the policy of effective communication between the the university departments, that will increase the success rates of projects and increase work transparency to overcome the difficulties, HE the Vice Rector, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari held a meeting on Wednesday, 05/11/1435, the meeting was with the Deans of the Colleges and the Supporting Deanships, HE the General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, HE the Assistant General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, HE the Director of Procurement Department, and HE the supervisor of the Project Management Office, to discuss the ideal mechanism to ensure the university projects needs in various constructive, consultive,   restoration projects and maintenance, facilitation and information technology projects and e-learning, etc. classifications, to inform them of the new work mechanism to form a projects examination committee in addition to the tasks and activities of the Office project management, which include the provision of support and assistance in relation to projects request or creating conditions and technical specifications notepad.
 
The meeting included several presentations, discussions and important recommendations, including the need to respect the obligation that the colleges, Deanships and department projects inventory list should be every three months, in order to ensure meeting the needs in a more organised manner that contributes to the optimal utilisation of budget items.
 
The mechanism of authorities project monitoring was discussed after the issuance of its adaptation. It was noted to the need for coordination and supervision from the project requesting authority with the Department of Procurement and Project Management, to complete the work system to meet the requirements in an appropriate manner.
 
At the end of the meeting, HE the Vice Rector expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the Deans for their eagerness to attend and cooperate to benefit the university.
