The Committee of Investment Studies Held Its Fourth Meeting

The Committee of investment Studies held its fourth meeting under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed al-Dossari, on Sunday, 16/06/1436 AH. Dr. Musalam was briefed the committee members on what has been implemented from the recommendations of the committee at its third session including the discussion of the telegram which was coming by the Minister of Education regarding the continuation of government components in coordination with the General Authority for Investment and agree on the appropriate mechanisms to achieve their goals, and to discuss the establishment of global and private schools in university cities. The committee also discussed its agenda at its fourth session in the year of 1436 AH which included a number of issues, the most important of them was discussing the response of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs on the request for allocating a piece of adjacent land to the university campus for the the university. Then it discussed the response of the King Salman Institute to benefit from the recommendations of the economy conference based on knowledge and its role in national development. The committee discussed the offer of manufacturing price for the device measuring hemoglobin and Alhmatukarait and discussed the speech of STC regarding the request for an investment site in the university city at Zulfi, and discussed the letter of Saudi company of automotive services and equipment regarding the request for an investment site in the university city at Majma'ah. They also discussed the telegram of the Minister of Education regarding the approval of the participation of the general authority for investment in the study and review what prepared by government components from the rules and regulations before they are issued in order to know the dimensions and impact of these rules and regulations at the local and foreign investment in the Kingdom.
