VICE-RECTOR OPENS THE WORKSHOP OF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS’ SIGNIFICANCE

A workshop was conducted by the Department of Study Programs and Development at the Vice-Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs on the theme “ Significance of KPI and ways of measuring them”. The aim of the workshop is to improve the performance of all planning and development units at the university. The workshop was opened by a word for Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, in which he reiterates the concern of MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, with the consistent development of planning and development units in the light of the university strategic plans and objectives. KPIs as tools to verify that all objectives set were achieved are very important and should be unified in order to be more effective. Dr. Essam Al-Maliki, Supervisor of Vice-Rector’s Office, stated the topics of the workshop which will address the executive plan of the vice-rector’s office, deanships and colleges and KPIs and their evidences. Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Qawasmi, Study Programs and Development Department’s Supervisor, reviewed some of the plans, evidences and KPIs and explained how they work as well as the expected objectives yielded from them to have more optimal educational environment. Several experiences were shared during the workshop with regard to the planning and development in colleges as well as discussing the results of KPIs’ measurement.
