VICE-RECTOR’S OFFICE FOR EDUCATION AFFAIRS DISCUSS KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS FOR DEANSHIPS

A final meeting was held by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs (VOEA), represented by the Department of Study Programs and Development, in the conference hall to discuss the integration of executive plans and key performance indicators for deanships under the VOEA. The meeting moderated by Dr. Essam Al-Maliki, Supervisor of Vic-Rector’s Office, was attended by representatives of Deanship of Quality, Deanship of Admission and Registration, Deanship of Student Affairs, Deanship of Preparatory Year and Center of Statistics and Information. The meeting aims to identify an effective mechanism of collecting data of performance indicators for deanships under the VOEA; upgrade the accuracy of collected data to match with that one issued by Statistics and Information Center. It also focuses on reviewing the executive plans of deanships and ensure that they contribute to the main goals of strategic plan adopted by the university. The qualitative aspect of annual reports based on the executive plan were addressed with a reference to the challenges, recommendations and means of improvement. For the work to be regulated, the deanships and departments were encouraged to maintain a high level of collaboration at work. At the end, an open session took place to discuss all presented topics during the meeting.
