The Deanship of Student Affairs organized the first Marathon at the University under the slogan “Sport is my Health” with the participation of 180 contestants from 17 teams of various departments and colleges.
The Dean of Student Affairs fired the start shot at 5pm.
At the end of the marathon, the sponsor of the event honored the departments that contributed to the success of the marathon, namely Majmah Traffic Department, Security Department, Public Relations Department, Media Department, Services Department and Medical Services Department.
Winners were awarded prizes according to their achievements:
1. Marwan Al-Muqbel, from the College of Science, came first in 20 minutes and 50 seconds winning the Gold Medal and 3000 SR.
2. Abdurrahman Al-Jahlan, from the College of Education in Zulfi, came second in 21 minutes and 22 seconds winning the Silver Medal and 2000 SR.
3. Moaz Mahmoud Zakaria from the Administration of Housing and Facilities came third winning the Bronze Medal and 1000 SR.
4. Moaz Awad Ali from the College of Science won 300 SR.
5. Mohammed Al-Rabiah from the College of Dentistry won 300 SR.
6. Khalid Al-Awla from the College of Engineering won 300 SR.
7. Sultan Al-Marri, from the College of Science and Human in Hawtat Sudair won 300 SR.
8. Muhammad Omar from the Scholarship Department won 300 SR.
9. Mohammed Al-Thubaiti from the College of Education in Majmah won 300 SR.
10. Sultan Al-Enezi from the College of Education in Zulfi won 300 SR.
The team of the College of Engineering in Zulfi won the Gold Medal in the Team Tournament.
