A Delegation From The Committee Of E-Transactions At The University Meets With The E-Government Program” Yasser”

Under the guidance of his Excellency the Rector of the University (Head of the E-Transactions Committee), Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al-muqrin, and in follow-up of the Vice Rector of the University and Vice Head of the E-Transactions Committee, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, a meeting was held on Thursday 21/02/1437 H, at the headquarter of the e-government program (Yasser) in Riyadh. The delegation of the Committee represented by Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Al-Saeed, and Secretary of the E-Transactions Committee at the University, Mr. Yousef Bin Hamad Al Rukban.The e-government program (Yesser), on the other hand, was represented by Mr. Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Khalifah, Director of Governmental Relations and Mr. Saeed Bin Maeedh Al-Qahtani, Director of Education Relations. The meeting addressed several topics such as, selecting the members of the E-Transactions Committee at the University and activating their roles, the plan of shifting the transactions of the university to be electronic, the project of Government Service Bus (GSB), and (VI) E-Government Transformation Measurement and awards. Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Al-saeed, stated that the meeting came out with several important recommendations that serve the university in shifting to e-transactions, including to what extent the e-government program (Yesser) is ready to provide the university with specializied training courses, as well as the free of charge technical consultations. Among the recommendations is the proposal of creating two subcommittees or working groups. While the first one is to be concerned about everything related to the e-government program (Yesser), the second one will focus on following-up or managing the technical projects at the University level. Dr. Al-Saeed added the need to create (a plan for e-transactions shifting) at the University of Majmaah to be approved by the authorized party. This plan shall be implemented and financed. The recommendations also included the coordination with the team of (Yesser) to finish the project Government Service Bus (GSB), and the need to review the requirements of VI measurement questions, and review the university's electronic services, adding new services, and finally notifying the e-government program (Yesser) about the university's achievements in the future. Dr. Adel Al Saeed expressed his thanks to the Rector of the University and Head of the E-Transactions Committee for his unconditional support. appreciations were also extended to the Vice Rector of the University and Vice Head of the E-Transactions Committee for his ongoing follow-up and his directives that would bring benefit to the university.
