CCIS Female Department Organizes Student Day in Collaboration with ACM W Chapter

The College of Computer and Information Sciences (Female Student section) organized the Student Day event with the participation of ACM_W Chapter. The program scheduled three main parts that included a number of activities and programming competitions. The event started with a general competition in a number of fields such as the computer, programming, physics, mathematics, Islamic education, and the history of the KSA. The competitors were groups of students from the Computer Science and Information Technology departments.

A mini forum was held to present the participations of a number of students from both departments. The student work included projects and research on various technical topics, including IOT and Augmented Reality. The best projects and researches were selected based on the evaluation of a committee of ACM -W Chapter members.

The concluding part of the program was dedicated to programming competitions were the winning students were honored as well as the best projects and research. Certificates of attendance were finally handed to all the participants in the event.
