A special celebration of the national day 87th was held by Students’ Activities Unit (SAU) in collaboration with many other units on Wednesday at the auditorium. The celebration was moderated by Ms. Alanoud Al-Shaybani and began by a speech addressed by vice-dean, Dr. Noura Shaker Al-Shehri, who stressed the importance of embracing core values of Islam and to serve this nation. Ms. Badreyyah Al-Otaibi, head of SAU, gave concise account of the Prophet Muhammed’s legacy on patriotism and motherland followed by a presentation showing the efforts made by Saudi Arabia’s government to maintain peace and security across the nation. The presentation also highlighted the glorious legacy and remarkable achievements of King Abdul Aziz bin Abdelrahman Al-Saud.The celebration which also includes different activities such competition, lucky draw and entertainment, was concluded by awarding participants.
