Faculty of Engineering Achieves an Outstanding Scientific Achievement in Publishing 105 Scientific Research and Books

Faculty of Engineering achieves an outstanding scientific achievement in publishing 105 scientific research and books, as the College of Engineering always seeks to achieve excellence and leadership in the field of scientific research because it is the basis and backbone of academic work in the educational institutions, as well as a mainstay of the well-known and advanced colleges and universities. Therefore, Under the comprehensive care and continuous guidance of his Excellency the Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, the College of Engineering was able to achieve an outstanding and unique achievement this year in making an abundant scientific production included 105 scientific research published in journals, scientific conferences, and scientific books published in international publishing centres through its participation in the Week of Scientific Research at the University of Majmaah. Thus, the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering has headed the other Departments of the College in producing 43 research followed by the Department of Electrical Engineering, then the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Hence, the College intensifies all its efforts to increase this number of published research and scientific books next year, after getting the first place this year according to the evaluation of the Deanship of Scientific Research to the number of scientific research in the field of engineering. During the activities of the fourth week of scientific research, the College of Engineering has also provided a unique model in inaugurating a new scientific journal for the dissemination of scientific production for college students in various fields of engineering. On his part, his Excellency the Rector of the University has appreciated this leading idea and pointed to the possibility of circulation in the other colleges of the university
