Engineering College Conducts Internal Quality Assessment for Programs

As part of the Engineering College's effort to obtain the academic accreditation and quality assurance, the college conducted the internal quality assessment for its programs. The assessment was held by the Committee which includes the Vice-Dean for quality and development, Dr. abdullah Almuhaisin, the Coordinator of Academic Accreditation Unit, Dr. Abdulrahman Alqwasimy, the Coordinator of Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Samih Sa'adudin, and the consultant for quality reports, Dr. Jamal Samidah. Following the directives of the Dean, Dr. Abdullah Alabdul-Kareem, the committee reviewed the documentations, evidences and templates of quality; in addition to reviewing the accreditation mechanisms and the required standards for the NCAAA and the International Accreditation ABET over the last three days. The committee also provided the coordinators of quality committees for academic programs with feedback, notes and recommendations including: Unifying the mechanisms, reconciling the different programs in College, making comprehensive references of the templates and documentations and using the feedback in improving performance.
