College of Engineering Participates in Community Service Activities

The College of Engineering participated in the Volunteer and Community Service Exhibition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at "Majmah" Mall for two days from 29/3/2018 to 30/3/2018, which was inaugurated under the patronage of the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Ofaysan, and the presence of Dr. Shadi Al - Shoaieer Deanship of Student Affairs.

The College also participated in the big exhibition organized by the Student Activity Committee at the College and the Community Service Unit.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Ibrahim Al-Afisan, opened the exhibition in the presence of the Vice-Dean of Educational Affairs Dr. Saleh bin Ahmed Al-Dahash and the Vice-Dean of Quality and Development Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Muhaisen.

The faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College participated in the exhibition. They are: Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dr. Yousef Berouche, Dr. Al-Manea El-Barhoumi, Dr. Mohamed Zubair, Dr. Mohamed Kashef, Dr. Youssef Akour, and Dr. Tariq Nabil, Bader Al-Dakhil, Khalid Al-Mutairi, Shafi Al-Mutairi, Fahad Al-Mutairi, Saud Al-Abdul Karim and employees.

The participants were briefed on state-of-the-art scientific and practical methods of energy saving at homes, offices and workplaces.

The members of the faculty and students participating in the exhibition briefed visitors on the of electricity consumption of all electrical appliances of different types as well as how to best use these devices at the lowest costs.

The visitors to the exhibition commended the importance of setting up the exhibition to serve the local community of the city of Majmah and the need to promote awareness of energy consumption rationalization among the members of society.
