Department of Special Education (Females Sections) at the Faculty of Education in Majmaah has celebrated the World Day for Persons with Disabilities, on Thursday dated 12/02/ 1436 H . Therefore, this celebration has been entitled: (Ability not Disability ) , and it revolved about topics that touch what the kingdom does provide in this regard, of efforts, money, attention, and care in the field of the (medical, educational, economic, social and sport services) for those persons with disabilities as a desire from the governors and the country in the implementation of the principle of justice and equality among the citizens of this great nation, and in integrating those persons in the community with their ability peers , as well as to utilize of each one of them (Persons with Disabilities) according to his/her capacity and ability to contribute in rebuilding their homeland and be proud of it. Thus, this celebration has launched with verses of Holy Quran, then followed by a speech of the Coordinator of the Department, Dr. Mayson Maqel, who , in turn, has appreciated the great efforts implemented to care of persons with disabilities in the fields of (education, service, attention, employment ), and the need to work on integrating them into the community. During this celebration, some female students participated with a number of activities of different patterns, in addition to display a play and a film entitled ( Ishan ) ; and the title of the play was (The Image Talks ) , then a review about the role of the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation in the care of this precious category brought to the stage.
