The Quality Unit provides a focus within the Department for the development and implementation of academic quality assurance. The work of the Unit covers the development of policies and procedures relating to quality management and the maintenance of standards; preparation for external reviews; oversight of validation and review activities; appointment and briefing of External Examiners; committee servicing for the Quality Assurance Committee and Learning and Teaching Enhancement Committee.

8_Annual Reports

Program Eligibility The program is to submit the two most recent APRs as part of the requirements for program eligibility using the NCAAA Template.

Post Accreditation:  The program is required to annually complete an APR. The APR is to document a complete academic year.

APR’s are prepared by the program coordinator in consultation with faculty teaching in the program.  The reports are submitted to the head of department or college, and used as the basis for any modifications or changes in the program.  The APR information is used to provide a record of improvements in the program and is used in the Self Study Report for Programs (SSRP) and by external reviews for accreditation.

8C_Courses File Revision

According to Quality documents to(Course in CIS Program) and the  organization of the course files as follow :

1- Course specification have been done according to the models of NCAAA.

2-Matrix distribution targets scheduled educational and learning outcomes of the course .

3-Statement certified by the department with direct measurement tools course , which contains the learning outcomes .

4-Report on the application of direct measurement tools with analysis and recommendations for improvement .

5- Examples of tests of all kinds and their model answer.

6-Patched sample of exam papers and duties of students for different levels of students.

7-Form of statistical analysis to identify student assessment decision with recommendations for improvement.

8-Models of the course report (according to the models of NCAAA ) for two semesters .

9-A report on recommendations for improvement of the report be approved by the Quality  Committee department and the department and evidence of follow –up implementation. 

It has been found that the important procedure have been applied according  to the file of (Course in CSI Program) and (measured tools report ) in a good  manner.

 

 

9- Student Questionnaire

Students are the principle clients of the education system and surveys of their opinions are one of the  most important sources of evidence about quality in higher education. They can provide very useful  suggestions for improvement that should be considered in the quality cycle for improvement as applied  to individual courses, programs, and institutional planning.

12_KPI Indicators

KPI refers to the key performance indicators the programs used in the SSRP and are approved by the institution (if applicable at this time). 

This includes both the NCAAA suggested KPIs chosen and all additional KPIs determined by the program (including 50% of the NCAAA 

suggested KPIs and all others).

Target Benchmark refers to the anticipated or desired outcome (goal or aim) for each KPI.

Actual Benchmark refers to the actual outcome determined when the KPI is measured or calculated.

Internal Benchmarks refer to comparable benchmarks (actual benchmarks) from inside the program (like data results from previous years or 

data results from other departments within the same college). 

External Benchmarks refer to comparable benchmarks (actual benchmarks) from similar programs that are outside the program (like from 

similar programs that are national or international). 

KPI Analysis refers to a comparison and contrast of the benchmarks to determine strengths and recommendations for improvement.

New Target Benchmark refers to the establishment of a new anticipated or desired outcome for the KPI that is based on the KPI analysis.

15_Self Study Report

A program self-study is a thorough examination of the quality of a program. The mission and objectives of the program and the extent to which they are being achieved are thoroughly analysed according to the standards for quality assurance and accreditation defined by the NCAAA

The faculty member is the key element in the learning process. Department of CSI study materials in other disciplines for example physics, chemistry and mathematics and others.Computer Science  is source of all other sciences, so the University concerned with picking a qualified faculty member. In the CSI department of Science faculty in Zulfi city includes faculty members with different specialties for example Professor, Assistant Professor, lecturer, Demonstrator and Scholarship.

18- Strategic Plan

The Faculty has prepared a three-year strategic plan recognizing the importance of good planning where an analysis of the present and future trends, forecast to reach the desired goals and  dentify appropriate ways and means to achieve these objectives efficiently and effectively. Planning for the future is the best method to meet the current and future challenges.

19- Facilities and equipments

There must be adequate facilities and equipment to meet the needs of teaching and learning in the program. It must be followed up over the use of facilities and equipment, and that the assessment is carried on a regular basis for their adequacy through Consultations with faculty, staff and students.

20 - Academic Advising Unit 

Academic Advising is an opportunity to exchange information designed to help students reach their educational and career goals. Advising is a shared responsibility between an adviser and the student. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the student to make decisions about his/her life goals by creating a plan to reach those goals.

Academic advisers can assist in this process by helping the student understand options, determine resources and, when necessary, identify alternatives.

While students are urged to keep parents informed of plans and progress, the advising relationship uniquely is between the academic adviser and the student
