Duties

 

Functions of College Vice Dean for Development and Quality:

1_ Reinforcing the concept of quality and disseminating the culture of it at the college level or the Institute.

2_ Supervising implementation of the quality program in the College or the Institute

3 _ Supervising performance evaluation at the College or the institute

4_ Supervising implementation of the evaluation and academic accreditation program

5_ Preparing and executing developmental plans and strategies for the College or the Institute

6_ Supervising workflow in Information Technology Center.

7_ Investigating difficulties or problems that come in the way of development and quality programs and proposing solutions to them

8_ Identifying training needs for faculty members in the college academic departments and coordinating with Deanship of Skills Development in the implementation process.

9_ Encouraging faculty members to participate in the training courses, programs and workshops offered by Deanship of Skills Development.

10_ Supervising the preparation of a plan to develop the skills of teaching and administrative staff and students.

11_ Plans for supervising the use of e-learning and technologies in teaching and learning within the college.

12_ Supervising the preparation of the annual report about the college and submitting it to the competent authorities after approving it from the dean.

13_ Providing periodic reports to the Dean about the work development of the subordinate units according to the tasks assigned to it and the difficulties they face.

14_ Following development of educational facilities of the college and updating laboratories

15_ Putting the work system and the general description of the employees' duties in Vice Deanship of Development and Quality, and how to coordinate between its units.

16_ Supervising the financial affairs and special trusts for Vice Deanship its programs in accordance with rules and regulations.

17_ Supervising the implementation of what is referred to of topics related to development and quality.

18_ Implementing and following activities of Innovation and Excellence Awards in academic and research performance and career in college

19_ Develop appropriate interim plans for periodical examination of the quality standards approved to ensure continuous improvement in the performance of academic departments and administrative units in the Faculty.

20_ Setting up a mechanism for identifying the expectations, requirements and the level of College customers' satisfaction, and communicating to all academic departments and relevant administrative units.

21_ Executing and following evaluation and development of teaching performance of the faculty members, and helping them achieve professional and scientific distinction.

22_ Following the updating process of college website with regards to the subordinate administrative units.

23_ Implementing whatever task assigned by Dean of the college.
