Vision

 Unit of Information and Statistical Data is the main reference for accurate and transparent statistical information in the Deanship, by building an information model , sophisticated, up to date, and  reference to support decision-makers.

Message

Meet the needs of data users through the collection of statistical data and information,  classify this statistical data and information and  produce it as a number and an up to date information that reflects the characteristics of the Deanship community and its activities, with a high degree of accuracy and reliability, and dissemination of this information in a transparency way according to an appropriate patrol; to highlight the works of the Units, the developmental programs, Deanships, institutes and the centres associated with the Deanship.

The Overall Objective

• Highlight the outstanding efforts of the Deanship of College for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research through what the Unit of Information and Statistical Data does present.

• Build bases for Data and Information and interaction with the Deanship sites via the World Web Wide.

• Build a decision support system through the depending on the standard and statistical methods.

Measurable Goals

-Communication with Deanships, institutes,  centres, programs and various Units to gather the required data to highlight the activities.

-Study the activities of Deanships, institutes, centres, programs and the Units to how to collect the statistical data about them; to highlight the effective role of the statistical interface in the Deanship of the College for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

-Design different questionnaire forms, depending on the research activity for primary data collection from  Deanships, institutes, centres, programs and the various Units.

-Cooperation with the Unit of Computer and Information Technology to build databases and their outputs.

-Unloading and entering the data, and then making the statistical analysis for it.

-Submit a statistical periodically report to follow up the achievements of Deanships, institutes, centres, programs and Units of Deanship cumulatively.
